warranty returns

Spark-In the Warranty thread by Marion Poff you said that Benchmade , Spyderco, and Paragon/Al Mar had very high return rates as opposed to Busse, Cammillus,etc.
I would be very interested to know what kind of return rate you are experiencing with the various brands. Perhaps other dealers would like to share their experience?
I assume that most makers would not care to share info on their return rate,but the dealers certainly know what people keep an what gets returned. How about it guys?

Unfortunately it's not that easy. You would also have to take into account knives that appeal or are marketed to "New Knife Users", for example, because you could argue that less experienced users are more or less apt to be disapointed in quality issues then experienced users.

Further, clamshell packaging prohibits careful examination for the buyer or the seller. The result of that probably means there's more disapointment just because it is not what they thought it would be even if the quality is fine.
