May want to edit that to say

Instead of Buck Knives

Yanno,,,, People that are upset with a knife pop in here being pretty vocal about it sometimes. Sure, they should first take their problem up with Buck, but in some cases they have gotten wrong information, (the Sekiden issue) and in some cases they may just need more info about a knife and the process to go through.

In some cases they just need to vent, and in some cases we loose that person to the dark side.

But what I have seen happen about 99% of the time, everyone here has been able to assure them that Buck does all they can do to satisfy a customer, and that person goes away satisfied, and sometimes maybe a bit embarrassed at having gotten excessively vocal.

In a lot of these cases, I think, that maybe we have been able to make a new friend and convert to our Buck Addiction.

So, in one small way, maybe we help support Buck Knives.

We have to think about someone poping in here wanting to talk about some problem, and maybe vent a little, seeing some warranty thread directing them in a direction they may not be ready to travel, and it putting them in even a worse attitude about their problem.

And on the other hand A very simple sticky comment as to how to handle failure and recondition issues would be a good thing for the ones looking to go straight to Buck with an issue.

ok,,,back to soaking the semi-dead brain cells in some caffeene :o

Silly question. If I send a message to Joe Houser from this forum does it show in my regular email outbox? I have tried to send two messages but neither show im my email out box so I dont know if I sent him the same message twice or if I didnt send him one. The first time I just thought I forgot to hit the send button.

It will not show in your outbox. Joe should get an email (actually two ;) ) from "kyhunt@bladeforums.com". Your real email address will be in the reply to so when Joe replys it should show up in your email inbox.

oooops. I thought I did something wrong so I sent am email to Mr. Buck since I had his email address from the one post....

Well that explains a few things...Why I got two emails from you and one forwarded to me by CJ Buck. ;)
Did you get my response? I sent it to the email address on the email you sent me.
