Since my Paramilitary 2 is currently in Golden getting repaired for lock stick, I have been curious what the turnaround time is for repairs (I'm missing my Para 2). Since I couldn't find it posted on their website I gave them a call today and the nice lady on the phone told me that it's 3-4 weeks including weekends and return shipping time. Just thought this might help anyone who is currently or considering having their knife repaired by Spyderco.

Good to know. FWIW, 3-4 weeks is about the average for Spyderco.

As for why they don't post it, it's because turnaround time varies considerably. They're a small company and W&R is a one, or at most two, person operation and those folks may have other responsibilities as well. So, in addition to workload, things like illness, holidays, vacations, and prepping for shows can impact turn-around times.

It may be shorter at other times of the year. I had 1 blade with a defect and they replaced the knife (1 defect out of many perfect knives). I got the replacement knife back in a week and a half. It is in my pocket right now.

I sent one in for work this past February and I had it back in ten days. Two years ago I sent one in and it took close to 4 weeks, that one was sent in during the Summer. I was very happy with the work they did for me.

Warranty is a little slow, but they are very courteous and professional about it. Their operator, Lisa, is a pleasure to talk to and answers any question I may have, and is patient with me as I call asking about my knife. Overall a good experience even if it does take a while.
