Let me start this thread by saying that I've never had much luck sharpening serrated edges. This is concerning the four Buck steak knives that I had worked on, see here...

But, thought I'd give it another try. Bought a rat tail diamond file and tried it again. Again, I found that it was really difficult to match the serrations and get a good point and edge to make it look like it should. So...

On April 21, I sent in the four Buck steak knives for SPA and sharpening.
I get an email on April 28, that they received the package and will be promptly processed! Then today, May 2, I get another email saying that they were finished and on their way back with tracking number.

Now that is fast, thank you to Buck's warranty dept. Wow!
Photos will be forthcoming...

I had a similar experience with an old beat up 2 dot 110 I sent in. They replaced the blade, polished out the nicks and dings for 10 bucks and a total 14 day turn around! So the day it came back I sent off my 1979 (purchased) 501 Esquire for Spa Treatment and to tighten up the blade pivot.

We had a lull in packages coming in with everything being shut down. We expect to start getting slammed with packages again.
Hi Jeff, not sure if this is right place to ask you this question, but I had sent in a sedua 112 for a spa last year and the blade came back more loose then when I sent it in. Am i able to resend it with a few other knives that need a spa treatment to get it worked on again? I just got real busy and never brought it to attention. By the way...You guys do an absolute amazing job on these old knives.

Sure thing. Make sure you list it as a repair not a spa for loose blade so we don't try to charge you for it. :)
Send it to my attention so I can make sure your SPA gets refunded on that since we didn't fix it.
Pro_tip: If you send it in for a loose blade, the SPA is automatically done at no charge. If you send it in as a SPA, sometimes we don't check things like loose blades although we should.
