warranty work on a 940

I was curious as to whether or not benchmade reconditions the handles or backspacer. A good friend of mines 940 is about shot. It has almost no green left and the purple backspacer is raw. Just curious if they replace that or not. I would think no, but any one have a experience with this?

I really don't know but BM will go out of their way to help when they can.

They will replace the handles and backspacer for a charge of 70$

It's probably a lot cheaper to just find a local annodizer to just bead blast it and reannodize it. You could even get some fancy colors and such, I have seen it done before.
