yesterday I polished my the edge on my xm-18. Accidently I polished a bit of the blade itself aswell, like 3 to 4 mm. I think it looks quite nice and am thinking about polishing larger parts of the blade. I understand the reasoning of rhk, declaring the warranty void if you alter the knife yourself, but I don't agree that this should void my warranty since it does not alter any core features of the knives, nor rendering it vulnerable to anyting it wasn't vulnerable to already. That being said, should i proceed and polish my blade, my warranty will be void. Should I encounter any problems with my knife, will they repair it for a fee ?
