Wondering if anybody else got the brush off or told to pack sand by REMINGTON when trying to claim a warranty issue
with one of their made in USA knives ???
Currently have an R-4 Utility I have used for years and the main spring has gotten too weak to use safely.
contacted them for warranty and well
first got told to just send it too Bear and Son Cutlery...
ahhh they are not going to repair it.
We know who made the knife...
they even told me to contact the new Camillus co. and well , they have not replied.
Today Remington tried to say the warranty was with the people who MADE THE KNIFE and not with them...
well
got out the copy I have of their warranty and it is clearly WITH THEM...
LIFETIME WARRANTY OF THE MADE IN USA KNIFE.
Really want the knife repaired or replaced ... one reason I purchased it , was the warranty.
Pretty much see it that Remington shot themselves in their own foot when they contracted
knives to be made overseas ... taking the American worker out of the equation.
Would YOU PUSH the warranty issue with REMINGTON or allow them shove it off on the customer as "OH WELL"
want me a good working R-4 W/saw blade again.
