Warren Osborne and Julie

Carved and pierced Mother-of-Pearl handle inlays over an inlay
of a different material is a design that Julie, Buster and Warren
came up with to do exclusively on Warren Osborne’s knives.

Here are two pages from Julie's book displaying some of these
beautiful folders.

Looking at my post above with the small-size picture
that I posted where the quality of the work is shadowed
by the display size, forces me to post a closer look ....

The second folder from the left has the carved Mother-of-Pearl
inlay over an inlay of gold. The other three handles are carved
Mother-of-Pearl inlay over an inlay of Black-lip pearl.

Thanks Guys.

The two pages shown above are part of a section in Julie's book displaying
knives by other makers that were embellished by Julie.

The book actually includes 4 sections displaying knives embellished by Julie.
First, knives made by her, then knives made by Buster Warenski,
knives made by Curt Erickson and finally knives made by others, as
mentioned above.

As for the Osborne / Julie folders with double inlaid handles, I had created an
additional full page displaying an amazing matching pair with carved MOP
over a gold inlay (see below), just in case I have an extra page a available.

As no page was left empty I added one of these two knives to the full
page illustration shown above....
