If you got it for a good price, even better!

Best Regards,

Nice! Even though we don't live that far apart, I have never met "O". Even at Shows, I keep missing him. Mike

Yes, I would classify this purchase as a "very good deal." Not a steal mind you but, given that Sam Alfano would probably charge at least $2-3K for the engraving, I did well on this one. Yes, the inlay material is Siberian charoite.

and a little birdie is telling me that Mr. Garsson also has a very good idea of how I acquired this one and at what price;)

I learned to engrave from Sam, and Warren is one of my all time folder icons. Needless to say, though I am not a collector, I would love to be the owner of such a piece. World class all the way. Congratulations to you

Wow, very nice piece. That knife would stop anyone for a good long look at. Great addition.

To be honest, I have no clue on this particular deal. I like Warren's work a lot, and Mr. Alfano is a superb engraver. My feeling was that if you did not get a good deal, the price would sting a bit. Congratulations!

Best Regards,
