good price?

I'd stay away from it personally. It;s a benchmade 110 CSK the D2 steel is good, but the BILT tang is prone to rust and is pretty fragile. Not a bad price, but for the money I'd look elsewhere.

I do speak from personal experience and have pictures if you like.

Hi,Bushman.I had the knife and I removed the handle just to see how thick the tang was .IT IS VERY THIN.I WOULD PERSONALLY NOT TRUST THE KNIFE TO DO HEAVY WORK.The steel is good and the handle is very comfortable. The sheath is OK.THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THE THIN TANG.TAKE CARE MY FRIEND

I might snap some pics today of mine taken apart. I have personally had part of the "skeleton tang" break, BM was good on replacing it. Now apparently some water was inside the hollow handle and rusted the uncoated D2 pretty bad.

A better bang for the buck would be the new CSK II from Benchmade, full tang and 1095, can be had new for around 60 bucks.

I honestly can't stand the new CSK II. It's like a chintzy feeling CS SRK, and the leather sheath is simply awful. Looks like it came off of a flea market find. And I absolutely adore Benchmade to pieces.

I love the design of the original CSK, but hate the BILT system. I wish they had done away with it and kept the knife.

I have to disagree about the CSKII. In the sense that it is a 6 inch drop point blade, it does look similar to a bunch of Cold Steel and other offerings. I have used the knife quite a bit, it is quick in the hand, ergonomics are good for me, the grip is Santoprene instead of Kraton, which I prefer. The sheath was awful, and I wonder what Benchmade was thinking when they made it. I am guessing someone wanted to prove you could make a MOLLE sheath in Leather? I planned on using a Spec Ops Brand survival sheath for it anyway, so the sheath was more of a novelty. Sorry your experience wasn't as positive. I would like to see a D2 version, as that seems to be a standard of BM, and the D2 I have from them works excellently.
