Titanium...looks very nice, simple and clean, and im sure its light
does it hold that edge, and on what do you sharpen it ?

The blade is Titanium and Carbon Fiber with a carbide edge. I have to ask WT about the sharpening technique. This is Not a utility knife so I'm not concerned about sharpening this blade although I'd like to know the correct way to do so. I've heard that the carbide edge cuts for a Very long time; it's Carbide! Folks love Warren's knives or they Don't! I'm a lover! Thanks!

Thanks, Derek! When I bought this knife, I knew I was in open water. I've never seen or held a WT knife before. Warren's knives are beyond what I anticipated or expected! My friend, TJL, stated Warren's knives are the knife of the future. I told TJL, they are the knife of NOW. At least for me. :)

I very much like his Japanese style knives. Many of his other designs are not my cup of tea. This is one that doesn't appeal to me.

Warrens Knives are some of the most innovative, lightest, quickest self defense tools I have have ever had the pleasure of holding. They are simply not there until need. That is if you can keep you hands off them.

You know guy's. some knives have a purpose that goes beyond putting on a shelf and looking at.

ROFL. :D

I like many of Warren's knives a lot. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one someday. His "mid tech" effort (9 Line) showed a lot of promise with two cool designs but I haven't seen any activity from them lately. I guess he must be busy enough just keeping up with demand for his customs?

I will say that the swords don't appeal to me much. As soon as the blade length gets above 12" I become a pretty strict traditionalist.
