First of all I apologize for my English
I would like to know if anyone has experience of this knife, and more generally with the 9 lines Knives of Warren Thomas. In particular I would like to know if the blade is very sharp and if cuts well the paper. Ask this because I Know that Warren Thomas titanium blade do not cut well
thanks for your reply

Hello! Does the Sinbat have a carbide edge?
Do you have a WT Titanium/Carbide knife?
Mine cuts very well.
Rolf

I don't have experience with the sinbat from 9 line. I have seen WT carbide edges cut well and not so well. If it was me personally I would look for one of WT earlier works when he was still using steel. If your willing to spend the money he might even make you one Outta steel. Anytime I have emailed him I have gotten a response almost immediately. Nice guy from what I've seen.

I have this one

But It doesn't cut very well, is it possibile sharpening?

No, the sinbat is cpm 154 steel
i have a ryu with carbide edge and i'm not satisfied about blade

The only way to really sharpen it or atleast I would recommend would be sending it to Warren. I can see how this would be a problem thou you living in Europe. That carbide edge is extremely hard and I have never hear of anyone sharpening it on their own thou I'm sure some do. That k.ire isn't really a good slicer anyway but should hold the present sharpness level for a long time. Hope this helps.

Shift, thank you for you advice, i really appreciate, anyway i sent a mail to Warren Thomas about how sharp it, he quickly responded and told me to use diamond rod to sharpen and then to sharp only the grind side. This will give it a micro serrated edge. I'll try in this way, because, as you told me, it's very difficult for me to ship from Italy to Usa

Glad you were able to get an answer I knew he would help you out. Good luck buddy.
