Warren Thomas Authentication?

Hey all, I picked this blade up for an insane price earlier, and I need to make sure it's authentic.

It is new in box, had original plastic sleeve over it.
From what I gather, it's an avenger V1.
Produced in 2000. The black clip was only released on the model year 2000 apparently

I had an avenger II and the piece looks the same but the packaging is totally different.
