Hello All,

I have always been a fan of Warren Thomas' work but I don't see much about him on the boards...could some owners please provide some impressions (and scans)? I'm particularly interested in hearing about his "zero magnetic" and frequent flyer folders...how does the tungsten/Ti blade perform??

Thanks,
RL

The only experience I have with him is sending him a deposit 2 years ago for a AT MK2 or something folder, and never hearing from him again.

He makes some cool pieces, but when I tried to contact him recently to order something, I couldn't get in touch with him at the number or address in his ad in the knife rags. Reaching out and touching customers is obviously not a high priority with him. He is a great guy to talk to at a show.

Try Triple Aught Design for pics and info on some of his pieces;

Thanks for the warning on WT Knives. I want one of his folders but it is very hard to get info and communication. I would love to hear of more peoples' experiences.

Regards,

Qboy

my experience was the same, i was able to correspond thru email for a while but then died out to nothingness...i wanted to get one of his katanas and tanto knives, and i was also eager to discuss some custom projects--a chinese jian and balisongs. that's when the replies stopped coming.

he's probably reached a point in his career , like the other rare makers ,who can afford and only likes to work on his own designs and projects and able to sell without a problem.

i too am curious and fascinated about his choice of materials. i wanted to get one of his katanas because i wanted to satisfy my own curiosity regarding it's performance. Ti blade laminated with CF and carbide edge is definitely an ingenious combonation. but i wonder about the tensil strength or stiffness of Titanium when it is put thru some chores like a work horse.

anyone who has ever used his katana please chime in. inquiring minds want to know. :D
