I have a soft spot for a few makers and Warren is one of them. I have Sager/Warren; Warren Axe and Tool and then I have the Warren where it is written in script. Is there any significance to these? Years of production? Anything that sets them apart from other Warrens? I forgot to put the pickaroon in the group shot but below are the rest of them. Just missed a nice boys axe on the 'bay.
The double is marked USFS & the hatchet is a heavy head, undercutter is my only one so far.
Thanks,
Bill

The Warren signature line was a second line, good quality overall, but not the Chemical process line or Sager line as state by Steve.

I also like the Legitimus(Connecticut) line and have Sager's so I am OK with having the 2nd rate line :) I just like the style of the axes and the simplicity of the stamping. Quality is still head and shoulder above most of today's offerings. I guess it was true then as now that real pros do not need frills.
