No, I didn't break one -- :D

I checked the site, but couldn't find anything outlining the warrenty so I figured I'd ask in here. Anyway, how does the warrenty cover a blade that isn't in production anymore? My reason is that I have a Killer Bee that I'd love to use, but not sure how it's covered.

Also on another note, can a blade be sent in to the shop for a "re-coating" for some price?

Thanks in advance --

I seem to recall that, for a knife no longer available from Busse, the original purchase price from Busse would be refunded, or credited toward the cost of a currently available model. This would be a great deal for a "user".

What are you going to do with that Killer Bee that you would expect to incur the warranty?

I think Mike hit the nail on the head about the warranty. And yes, you can send in a blade for recoating or double cutting (fine bead blasting) etc....IIRC the last I heard it cost about $60 or so.

Use the heck out of that KB!! It's one stout little bastid

and you never know, they may have a stray copy of the model your looking for somewhere in the shop :)
