Warrior Gurkha

Hello friends!!
I wanna present to you a recent work, one gurkha knife style named ´´Warrior´´.
The blade is 1070 x 15n20 forged damascus steel, with 132 layers. the handle is colorado antler, ferrule and pommel is made with brass.
Dimentions: blade lenght 315 mm , over all 488 mm, larger width 54 mm , thickness 7 mm.
Sheath is hand made with cow leather and brass.

WHEN you do another one, (it's inevitable) you might consider using mild steel for the collar and butt, and get it all nice and dark.

Lorien - When it comes to using bronze, copper and brass, I like to think that it will darken and patina gradually, and picture what it will become as its beauty grows into something that only time can make! :D
 
unless that brass goes black, I stand by my assessment!
 
I love the patina bronze develops.
As far as brass, lightly buff it and it's brand new and shiny again.
