Hey guys, can anyone use Photoshop or something like that to make a mock up for me?I don't have any of that stuff:D Anyway, what I need, is to picture some mods I plan on doing to my bk7 when I get it! The mods I plan on doing are a little more traditional clip point I guess? (Like the 17) but slightly longer. Taking off the ramp, and possiblyyy, a choil. Can anyone come up with that? Thanks in advance! -Weston

Sorry, internet is a little slow tonight:

I really like the choil. Not so crazy about the extended clip point but I'm not crazy about clips anyway. And if you go rampless make sure you add jimping or cross hatch. It'll be great!!!

Haha, definitely didn't expect it to be that fast! Thanks brother! I like the choil and no ramp, I'm just not sure about the point yet...dang its good to be ablr to ask for it and see it that fast! Ever seen the clip on a buck 119 special? Where it goes pretty far back? I wonder how it would look if it was kinda like that.

A 119 goes way back. It doesn't have the same blade geometry as the 7 does. Of course you can make it go back farther, but it wouldn't look right. The tip of a 119 is higher to begin with.

Haha. That's awesome
When your good, your good.
Hats off Dubz!
Haha. :D

Basically the same curve as before, but brought the swedge back farther:

See what I mean about the 119's point being higher:

Hmm, I like the look of the swedge further back, but not sure...Hopefully when I get the 7 it will happen

Send it to Trade, he can grind anything...

I even heard Chuck Norris goes to him when he needs someone to trim his beard!

You could always round the swedge off a bit too, making it look longer/sleeker. The bad part to all this, is that the more metal you remove, the weaker the blade's going to be.

I can't believe tradewater didn't jump in here on this. His Chop skills are second to none.
It's just because I saw it first is all. I think he was looking for just the right word for his next review.
