Thanks, appreciated.

Wow I am impressed with those pictures...so how did you do it?
I used the GIMP program. Erased the parts I didn't want, add a shadow to make it more 3D. About it.

Warrior - the detail and color of the images are excellent, too. What camera do you typically use?

Neat pictures - reminds me of the billboards they do around here with "protruding" pieces of picture - these look much better though.

Plus they have subjects that I like to view - thanks Warrior -

best

Damn Warrior.
We need to get you photoshop. Somewhere in the CS5/CS6 variety.
You'd be unstoppable.

great post processing warrior. . . gimp is a great PP program I heard. . . and you prove it to be. . . ive had cs3 for a long time. feel no need to upgrade. I might have to take a stab at that effect. pun intended. . . I've seen it with people jumping off the background but the one with the knives youve done are excellent. thanks for sharing. . .

Thanks guys. GIMP is a freebie, so I went with that. Years later, someone gave me a copy of Photoshop Elements, but I never used it, as I was used to GIMP by then. I know Photoshop is better, and can do more things, but GIMP has done everything I've needed it to do. I just Googled tutorials, then applied what I learned to my own stuff. Doesn't hurt to just push buttons and see what it does either. I've learned tons by going that route. This is one of my favs I did with GIMP. Not hard, but VERY time consuming: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/920870-Becker-BK-Evolution-A-Metamorphosis

Hmm... perhaps I should download GIMP and make a little Beckerhead #/logo for my signature. Can't beat the price...

Yep, doesn't get much better than free. Takes awhile to learn to use some features, but you can always Google GIMP tutorials. There's many out there.

owwwww, your Nine poked me in the eye.
Warrior, you missed one in the metamorphosis. The elusive Eight, remember?
