I had some remaining 1/4" armor plate left and I made this up and finished it with K&G Gun Kote and some nice black G10 scales. Almost 14" long with a 8" blade. Stainless tube rivets.

Isn't armor plate pretty low carbon, low alloy? Very nice work by the way!

No armor plate from this type of armor has fairly high carbon and high alloy. It is a milspec alloy armor I found. I have to look it up again but it has proven to be quite able for heat treat and use with a Rockwell of about R58-59.

There was a private message asking if there was a sheath for it.....here it is....(sigh) black again.....doesn't anyone want color anymore? LOL...set up for tec-lok or whatever....
