This is still unconfirmed rumor, but heard it in a couple of places - Benchmade may be considering a revival of the Warrior line of knives. As in Gaijin Warrior (Al Mar was overbuilt; this is same size, lighter, faster than), Hobbit Warrior, Pocket Hobbit, Pygmy Warrior, and Stealth Warrior. When REKAT had the design rights, they were going to produce the Gaijin and Pygmy Warriors, but these only got to the prototype stage before that company's demise. If you liked the Al Mar Warrior, you'll LOVE the Gaijin! The Pygmy is a fixed blade the size of the Pocket Hobbit. I sheathed the prototypes, and both models rock!! (Still have 2 Gaijins in my safe). The Stealth Warrior is a 9" bladed guardless Warrior, that Bob Taylor carried handle down. I wasn't the only one trying to get one of these from Bob, as apparently Greg Walker was lusting after one too. Think Bob's was the only one in existence. Hobbit Warrior and Pocket Hobbit shouldn't need any introduction - 5" fixed, 4" folder. Again, this is unconfirmed, but I'd definitely love to see it happen! How 'bout you?
