Warthog Multi-Edge

Hi There,

I do and I would not advise you by one. Very limited on your angles and it tears up the rest of your blade.

It says infinite angles from 10 to 90 degress, maybe you are confusing this one with the Wathog V-Sharp, which is a completely different product. I dont see how this one would scratch a blade.

Hi,

Yes I was talking about thier other gizmo, This one reminds of Ben Dales Edge Pro. Something along the same line though and seems a little more complicated to set up.

This thing might work. It is about 1/3 the cost of the Edge Pro but not built as good imo. Lets see if anybody else chimes in on this. It also seems a little more to put together.

Warthog Multi-Edge was originally designed for Knives, but has been better served as a chisel, planer blade and scissor sharpener because is does have infinite angles between 10-90 degrees. and i agree, it is a bit of a contraption and i do find it difficult to stabalize while sharpening.

Warthog V-SHARP has 2 models (1 Metal & 1 Plastic) both sharpeners work the same but have preset angle adjustments of 17, 20, 25, 30 (filet, kitchen, pocket, meat cleavers). what makes the V-SHARP work so well is that it combines equal pressure and constant angle, while you pull your knife through. you can Google "vsharp" to find the website and videos to see it in action.
