Warthog Sharpeners?

So I have often imagined a v rod sharpener that utilizes two rods that oppose each other and slide apart as you pull your knife down between them. In simpler terms, a Sharpmaker that sharpened your knife on both sides with one stroke. While veiwing sharpening techniques on Youtube, I ran across this: http://www.warthogsharp.com/ .

The company not only makes a v-rod sharpener, but also carries a very interesting angle guide system called the multi sharp for use with bench stones. If the system works as it is reported to, it would give an edgepro a run for its money. I'm wondering if anyone has given either of these a try, and what did they think.

Some guy ruined my Case Bowie knife when I let him sharpen it on that thing at a gun show once. Not only did it not sharpen the knife very well, but it also left huge scratches about 1/8-1/4 of an inch up the blade. This was a few years back before I knew much about knives. I was not happy with it at all!!!

I wondered about the tension on the rods. I imagined something that would have varying tension depending on how hard you wanted to sharpen. The problem being that the lightest tension that you would want would be hard to attain with this kind of set up.

With that said, I think I am more interested in the Multisharp pictured here. http://www.warthogsharp.com/enlarge.php?ProductID=6

If you check out the videos, I think you'll find it pretty interesting. http://www.warthogsharp.com/videos.php
Scroll down for the multisharp videos.

I've got one of the Warthog's . I also made the mistake, using it on a custom knife. It scratched it all up.. Afterwards i noticed in instructions it warns against using it on "collectible" knives. Now i just use it on my pocket knives and kitchen knives., cheap stuff don't mind.

I'm assuming this is the v sharpener. I'm wondering about how the Multisharp works compared to a Lansky type, or even the Edgepro.

I just got the WARTHOG V and it does scratch the body of the Blade up pretty good..... but it puts a great edge on. If You want a Sharpener that is easy to use (anybody can use) and will put very sharp edge on Your Knives this is it.
