A buddy of mine gave this to me. From what I have read its worth about $15.00 but not made anymore. Value aside, I like it. I have no idea what "zep" is.

Any other info would be nice.

It is an Imperial made knife... a newer one at that (used to be made in USA, sent to Ireland, then China). They make great user knives!

I don't know what zep is either. When you google and find out, you'll be smarter than me. :D

Production of Imperial knives moved from Rhode Island to Ireland in the mid-1980s, and the Ireland factory closed in 2004 a few months before the Schrade Bankruptcy. Current Imperial knives are all made in China for a different company, as were a few Schrade models in 2004 between the time of the Ireland factory closure and bankruptcy.

Not sure of the current values, but I have a similar Irish peanut purchased after the bankruptcy. (It's the top knife in the picture below.) Without checking the purchase records, I think the '04 closeout price was $1.38.

Welcome to Bladeforums!
If you have any more knives produced by the Imperial-Schrade Corporation (1904-2004), or would like to see some, please stop in the Schrade Collectors area here at Bladeforums.

I actually did Google zep but came up with nothing. Forgive the attempt at redneck sarcasm.
