I apologize for the vague subject heading. A few months ago I could have sworn that I saw a second knife by Trace Rinaldi besides the Armageddon in the TOPS site, but now I can't find it. I even posted a thread about it here but now I can't find that either..any help?
 
Maybe you weren't, I don't know, it's hard to tell.
BECAUSE there aren't any Rinaldi knives on the TOPS site anymore, for some reason the Armegeddon was pulled. I wonder if they had a disagreement?

I don't see why they would. Last I heard Trace was very satisfied with the TOPS version of the Armageddon.

Maybe, BUT that doesn't mean that he was happy with all of the details that go into a complicated contract. A possibility is that Trace wants to do a version himself, so he can keep a higher percentage of the cash, he has been doing a few productions already (see his website)
 
That's the one! Looks like the Warhawk. I don't see a price and the "buy" button isn't active so I guess it's not available yet. I hope it will be available and I still see the Armaggedon on their site. The DART is definitely going on my list; s30v ain't half badd y'know.
 
Could you buy one for me too while you're at it? Finder's fee? ;) :D

Trace was doing some midtech work for his ShivWorks line (I know, I've got a Midtech Lil' Loco :D), but I haven't heard anything about any other midtech knives.

I'd bet he has his hands full filling orders, getting ready for Vegas, doing the ShivWorks stuff, and hopefully making some more folders. ;)
 
Hi Guys... We are tweeking the design of the D.A.R.T. knife now. Mike Fuller and the guys at TOPS are swamped with work, but we should see some of these in the not too distant future..
Sorry for any confusion, and things are fine with Tops and me... Stay Tuned.;)
