Was looking hard for small Starbenza!

After seeing people wanting high premiums, settled for a left hand one brand new for $389 :)). With double lugs, it does not make a world of a difference!!! That will complete my large and small Starbenza set! Also while at it, could not help myself and picked up an Eagle flipper from Wilson Combat :)). I wish they had Knife Clinics for knife junkies like me LOL.
 
Being left handed, the RH sebenza's I have with double lugs don't bother me at all. I can use either hand to operate them. The only one that I've found that makes a difference is the Umnumzaan. I had a RH Startac and sold it to Dave and was able to get the LH Startac which made a world of difference. Glad to see you finally got one!
 
Ajack60, they stopped making them , small starbenza was a limited run. Double. Lugs always give flexibility :))
 
Ok who wants to trade a numbered "P" for a small NIB Starbenza??? LOL
 
A call to CRK and WC was simple enough to clear up this rumor. Not really understanding the panic here nor the 1.5x asking prices on these. :confused:

How do you like the Eagle? Several of us on here have them. Your thoughts?
 
Ok strange story on receiving my eagle. Nothing ever goes normal for me. First receive a large left hand Starbenza instead of small with an old box and card?? But knife looks new. Will include pics. Than on observing Eagle found a ton of scratches on blade. Called customer service at Wilsoncombat, and send pictures. They we're willing to take return, but at the end agreed on a discound of a used item. Love the eagle, however is 30% lockup normal. Also extremely tight. Loosened it up a bit with oil. Eagle will be my EDC for a while now.
 
They didn't squabble about the price difference between the large vs the small? If they let you have the large at the small price, I'd say you got a pretty sweet deal. I've never had any issues with them, I got three lefty's from them and have had a good experience with them. All in all, at least you are now the proud owner of a starbenza.
 
Spoke too soon about Wilson Combat eagle. Love the knife, however it takes prying open with a tool to close the blade. Seriously, my thumbs are goners after a few open and close. Returning the knife first thing Monday. I don't need their freakin discount. Now appreciate Sebenza even more.
