Lately I have been thinking of ole'Noah. Is he not any different than us who prepare?

Sometimes when I don't get a particular skill and want to give up. I think, "Man, ya'never know, the power grind can go out for good or at least for a while". Then I keep on going!

is that any different than building an ark?

No, he was not a survivalist. Noah was prepared for a specific event. We can call him an explorer or a pioneer, but his requirements are more permanent then simply survival. A survivalist is someone who prepares for the unexpected, and intends to return to civilization ASAP.
