Was the 110 ever made w nickel bolsters?

How do we define "production"?

I've seen limited/special etc. 110's in NS, but have regular production ones ever been done?

I picked this one up a couple years ago. Need to dig out the box but IIRC it was an overrun maybe for some company.

It's a pity. I can't resist :(

there have been offered several 110 with nicel silver frames, in the nineties, like the two on the left hand side.
not only special or limited editions. Also the anniversary knives in the catalogs around '91 have nickel silver frames.

Haeb-who is not here in the moment-bie

for example

The terrific fellas in the Smokey mountains supplied NS 110s until the cows came home. Manglers bot them like nobody business for years. Where do you think all of the pimped NS knives got their start? I prefer the brass but I have NS around here somewhere.

Double post, apologies. I offer to make it snow as compensation:

The 110 Chairman Series has nickel silver bolsters. I don't know if it is considered a production or custom model. I saw one on that infamous auction site last week that someone re-scaled and it looked real nice.

That sounds like about the same time frame the NS 112s were produced

Uh, I don't think about where pimped-out knives come from at all. They can come from anywhere.

I have no idea who the "fellas in the Smokey mountains" or Manglers are. Have the cows come home yet? If not I'd be interested in acquiring one (knife, though an inexpensive cow would be OK, too.)

Cool, I'll check it out, although "Chairman" doesn't exactly evoke images of a 110:-)

Redrummd must have bought tooooooooooooons of the NS from Smkw, I dont think Ive ever seen one of his stone masterpieces without NS.

I think you're right. I keep watching his knives for a 50th tang stamp, but none so far…he's still using up previous years knives.

I had one for a week or two before selling it back to the original owner. It was a very nice knife! I think that a major run of them was made for a store in the smokey mountains as others have mentioned.

I really liked the NS! I am saving up to have a custom shop model made and I think that I will go for the NS!

Well that answer my question, I'd call those regular production, since they weren't ordered for a particular retailer. Thanks!
