I'm curious, and have a question for some of you long-in-the-tusk Hogs. Was there ever an Active Duty LE model? I recently acquired a fantastic satin/snakekin AD (NO, it's NOT available and DON'T ask!) that seems a bit different from my Lep and Milganzaa AD models. The sabre grind seems to start a bit higher up and the micarta grips are a bit more aggressive, both much like my HD. The choil seem slightly larger, the talon and rear lanyard holes a bit smaller. The blade is not much thicker than my .140 GWs. Finally, it's sterile (Sorry, no pictures yet). Any information/background/history/rumors would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

The original custom shops were sterile then the "cs" logo was placed. So while not "LE" they were made in limited batches

Here is a pic of my old one from the original run.

The snakeskin you have is the LE. Sterile and logo versions were available . The originals were .150" sabre ground.

The other interesting part of that AD is that is has a factory non-convex final edge. All the logo SS AD's I've had were convex edged. It might be one of a kind?

My original custom shop ss ad had a convex edge. Cg ad only were available with v edge. However, lots of people resharpen the convex into a v. . . So who knows.

Best knife Busse ever made, IMO. Perfect thickness, length, and weight for 90% of what I use a knife for.
