Looking at a knife thats suppose to be a paramilitary 2 in vg 10 with orange g10 scales. Was there ever one made?

Thanks fellas for the help.

I could be wrong but i do not believe there was any of the military family with vg10. The only orange g10 thats been used has been the rex45 and xhp sprints/exclusives. Not an expert on pm2s but there are some fake ones in orange g10 out there (not sure the steel type)

While both halves of that statement are true, the implication you're making is incorrect. While VG10 has never been used in a knife made in Golden, and may never be, other Japanese steels have. Examples of that would be GIN-1 in the Native, ATS-34 in the first runs of the Military and the Centofante Vesuvius, and currently H-1 in the Autonomy. So the mere fact that a steel is Japanese does not rule out its use in a Spyderco made in Golden.

I'm just stating the facts as they exist, the implication is on your part, both parts or everything may change in the future but who really cares.

Most definitely not...evidently the upcoming SPY27 is sort of a “super VG” alloy in that it was based loosely on VG10 but was heavily modified and made using PM technology.
