Was this a Kmart offering?

I picked this up awhile back. It came with a 525 sealed in the package and the number is 110KP. Sorry for the small picture.

Pretty sure it was, I remember my nearest K-Mart having those in recent years as a "buy a 110 get a 525 free" deal, and I don't recall seeing it in other stores.

I kinda remember my K-Mart even having a little poster type thing taped to the knife counter glass advertising this deal.

(Sometime I wonder if there would be a good reason from a collector viewpoint to asking if I could have those after the sale is over???)

No poster here. But this is South Dakota we’re usually a year or two behind. And more then a few dollar’s short.

At least we’ve got some of the best knife laws in the country or we’d have almost no redeeming qualities.

I bought one of those in 2005.The 110 turned out to have an ID. stamped blade.Which I reboxed and gave to my oldest's Ag Teacher at graduation and gave her the 525.Made both happy.By early 2006 there was one left at our K-Mart. Now all have been long gone.
