I bought this may years ago at an auction in Oregon always figured it was home made just looking for your thoughts. Thanks

man what a odd handle
did some one grind or wire brush off a blade stamp on that?

You see some of the most interesting stuff on this forum. Sometimes beautiful. Sometimes interesting. Sometimes unique... and in this case downright odd! :D

oh to answer your question
i think it is some home basement work..
buck has not done such a handle to my knowledge
they dont use attachment like that ...

Thank You. I kind of thought so, but I figured someone here would know. It does feel good in the hand and has not given me any problems yet. I have skinned several deer with it over the years. However I have used the Emerson CQC 8 lately with great results.

Thanks Again.

ya, home custom is my guess, but I like it:thumbup: Thats a big honkin knife:)
The guy that made it must have been the size of a grizzly with paws to fit that baby.

It looks like the barrel nut attachment that they used in the early 60's.

The grip, pommel, and guard all look quite well done. The attachment is reminiscent of the M9 design. Not a bad 120!:thumbup:

<Gotta love Bob Dylan!> :D

Ossa, Your modified 120 is a 1990 mfg. comparing it to a 1981 mfg. one twenty . Your sheath looks to be a modified 1981 . Not done by Buck . DM
