I received my very cool mugs with the note that said wash by hand. I promptly put them in the dishwasher and ruined them.:o

Just a heads up.

 ...Please tell me that you're not serious about ruining them...? What happened, exactly??

HE IS RIGHT!! That little piece of paper INSIDE each mug specifically states that these should be hand-washed, and not placed in the dishwasher.

At the very least, the logo may come off.

Are they supposed to make a sloshing noise with nothing in them?:o

Somehow water got into the insulating hollow part. I have no idea on how to get it out. I know, I know...

The best I can suggest is to lay it on its side on some paper towels and see if you can find exactly where the water got in... Then leave it on the paper towels with that area facing down to see if it'll draw out the water. Maybe leaving it upside down might work also? Sorry, man! :(

Well, you live & learn... If I do another run of these in the future, I guess I'll be looking for a better mug candidiate.

Under the base pad, I found an impatient idiot screw. I don't know the real name, so I took the liberty of naming after myself.:D I took out that screw and got out most of the water. Why is there a screw at the bottom of the mug? I would be happy that it is there to get the water out, but I think that is how the water got in.

Sometimes those screws are used to simply plug holes left as a result of injecting the plastic into the mould. They often serve no other purpose.

I think it is working. I can hear a loud crackling noise. Another couple minutes and it should be done...

The good news is no more water in the mugs. The bad new is a broken microwave..:D

Before you ruin your microwave, take out the mug! Quick!

Now go put it in your drier to tumble on high heat, and your water problems should go away.

If, by any chance, a tiny bit of water should remain, I recommmend you put the mug in your oven and set it to Broil.

:p

The Logo will come off...OMG! So glad I saw this post or it would have went for a cycle this evening before getting packed in the suitcase.

Excuse me for a minute while I go rescue my terrified new mug from death row :D

Can anyone recommend a way to refinish the inside of a dryer (lots of chips). Also, does anyone have any ideas on how remove molten steel from the bottom of my oven. Thanks in advance.:p:D

LOL, PLEASE remember that even though it bears the Busse Combat logo... It IS NOT a Busse!!! ...And there's no warranty!:eek::foot:

You NEVER said they were not made out of INFI. If you tell a group of Hogs these are 'stainless steel' mugs what the heck did you think we would assume?

Does this mean the product is warrantied up until the point you can no longer see Jaxx's tail lights in the distance? At that point, good luck catching up to him. :p :D

ROTFL!!!

I opened my 3 and dropped the paper in the trash, frustrated that I had to do it 3x. All the while, I said, "What dingdong needs to know that

a) you need to wash these before use
b) you shouldn't put them in a dishwasher????"

I have FOUND that dingdong. LOL Sorry for your loss. Hope it gets back to working-use.
