I thought all Vantage models had the same construction, barring minor differences in shape of parts. I guess I was wrong. My Vantage selects both have brass washers at the pivot. A guy posted on my Youtube channel that his Vantage force pro has brass and plastic washers. Do you guys notice the same thing? That seems strange, but maybe the nicer versions use plastic for a smoother action.

I've seen both types of washers, brass and plastic or nylon but never in the same knife.
Thanks, Sir. I was curious about "double stacking" washers. Didn't make a lot of sense to me.

As far as I've noticed, the normal vantages used nylon washers in the beginning, later switching to phosphor bronze because the nylon deformed too easily. The vantage force models use nylotron (sp?) washers and I assumed they switched the whole vantage line to nylotron, but I examined some 2013 non force vantages in a local shop and they still use phosphor bronze in those.
