I have used a bunch of different soaps setting around, and they all seem to make opening much more difficult than when the knife was dirty.

What soap do you use on your linerless FRN Spydercos?

Thanks.

I just use Dawn dishwashing soap. Make sure you give the knife a thorough rinse and then dry it off. You may want to blow hard into the pivot to push out excess water or even take a hair dryer to it. When the knife is dry, add some lubricant (ie. Tuf Glide) to the pivot, work it in and then let it sit overnight. Works on all of my lockback Spyderco's.

Yeah, I rinse hard and use a blow dryer then lubricate. I'll try dishwashing soap. Thanks.
