Well, I've been wanting to do a giveaway in the traditional forum for quite a while now. I originally planned on purchasing a new knife for my gaw, but money has been tight lately.
So, I have been eyeing the Washington 77s for some time, and when Tim offered me the chance to take his spot in the early reserve I jumped. Unfortunately, I just found this knife too beautiful to use, so it rarely gets carried. Well, I did my morning routine of picking out my slip joint for the day, and I spotted the HJ. Now, I don't really consider myself a collector, so if I have a knife it will see regular pocket carry. However, something was different with this one. I almost have to force it in my pocket out of a sense of guilt. So that's what I did today, and it finally clicked. It's time to send this one off to someone who will really appreciate it( and preferably use the heck out of it). As I was cleaning it up to get a good picture of its current state I sliced my pinky pretty deep. This knife has actually given me my two worst cuts(the first one being on the day it arrived).
Now be warned, this is in no way NIT. I tried to polish off what I could of the patina, but just know that there is some that I didn't get off. The stamp is also almost gone. Other than that this knife is pretty much flawless. This will come with the tube and button.
I will try and get a more recent picture tomorrow when I get better lighting, but this will have to do for now.
Rules:
More than 50 posts in traditionals(preferably posts outside of just GAWs)
I will ship anywhere conUS. However, if you are international and someone within the US is willing to be the middle man and ship it to you, then feel free to enter.
Please post only once.
That is pretty much it on the rules. I'll let this one run until Thanksgiving and pick a winner via random number generator.
I want to give a huge thank you to all you folks who make this place my most frequented corner of the Internet. The generosity and knowledge that is portrayed here is unparalleled.
