This is far different than anything I've tried yet. A friend of mine asked me to make him something and left it at that. As the blade developed I decided to try carving the handle. This is really different in direction from what I usually try, but I really enjoyed the creativity I was able to exercise. It's O1, Osage Orange, and nickel.

Wow, Nice job and very interesting and exotic details! I like it all, including the sheath. Interesting coloration of the Osage.

Thank you Steve! I really enjoyed the trip to the shop, and found the trip well worth it for learning. I've got a few more knives underway, and had to rebuild my forge, which was a good thing. I built a Fogg style vertical forge, from an old compressor, and have been getting great results with it. I've got a few knives roughed out and will post them as I get further along. Hope all is well, there!
 
Lol.. I choose to ignore that aspect... It has been the cause of much ribbing from my wife...
