Guys, I wanted to show off some new pants for a couple of my field knives. All three sheaths are made by Noah L of Wasteland Leatherwork.
I really like a secure sheath for a field knife...a knife won't do you much good if its lost 3 miles back down the trail. I haven't started making sheaths myself yet, so I asked Noah to do a couple for me. JK (of Stomper Knives) turned me on to Noah and he's done some outstanding work so I thought I'd share:
The knives are by R. Laconico, JK (Stomper), and D. Koster.
The sheaths for the Laconico and the Koster have a "locking welt"--the welt kinda snaps around the guard. Very cool, very secure.
Noah's work is top notch and I think he's got a great eye. I'd highly recommend him if you need fresh pants for one of your woods blades.
