Guys, I wanted to show off some new pants for a couple of my field knives. All three sheaths are made by Noah L of Wasteland Leatherwork.

I really like a secure sheath for a field knife...a knife won't do you much good if its lost 3 miles back down the trail. I haven't started making sheaths myself yet, so I asked Noah to do a couple for me. JK (of Stomper Knives) turned me on to Noah and he's done some outstanding work so I thought I'd share:

The knives are by R. Laconico, JK (Stomper), and D. Koster.

The sheaths for the Laconico and the Koster have a "locking welt"--the welt kinda snaps around the guard. Very cool, very secure.

Noah's work is top notch and I think he's got a great eye. I'd highly recommend him if you need fresh pants for one of your woods blades.

Noah makes some of the best sheaths I have seen, I`ve sent him several knives to make sheaths for.

The one with the dangler is mine and it's top notch. Going to be sending him some more knives in the future.

Those look great.

I've heard it called a "cammed" sheath - when it has a place for the guard to "drop" and "lock" into place. My EDC right now is in a cammed sheath - love it!

Enjoy!

The sheepsfoot with a green handle and a pocket sheath is mine. I've got nothing but good things to say about his pocket sheath. It fits exactly the way I wanted it to.

His communication and Tal's communication are enough to make me never want to buy a sheath from anyone other than those two.

Fantastic work.
I like the third one down that Stomper posted.
I only have sheathes that go SNAP
You'll be receiving a Hatchula soon.

Stompers middle pic is mine. Noah did a fabulous job and has 2 more of my knives right now.
