Saw Cougar's post about Suunto and their GPS watch...(plus all their other cool watches).

So, what companies out there have the coolest gadget watches? Which models?

I admit - I'm a gadget freak...bring it on. :D

Yes...they're terribly tempting..!!!

Casio produces some gadgety watches, some with calculators, databanks, or others designed for hard use, notably their G-Shock line.

For the amateur radio types there is now a watch that tells time with morse code beeps , can be read too [dots and dashes.]

Not to thread jack, but is there an "antigadget" watch, that tells time and date, has a metal band, and doesn't cost much?

Some Casio G-Shocks also come with metal bracelets. I have a Tough Solar Wave Ceptor. It's got a lot of stuff on it, but the time and day and date display clearly, and it doesn't need winding, batteries, or resetting, even for Daylight Savings.

How about a few of these ....... binary, retro LED, mp3 data storage, or Ohm's Law, and more watches HERE

The Casio Sea Pathfinders are pretty cool and have alot of features...(I'm wearing one now.).

The T-Touch is a gadget watch. My bro-in-law has one in titanium. The coolest feature i think is how it turns into a compass. When you set it to compass the hour and minute hands just free up and become a compass. I've never seen that in a watch before. So cool.

Like others have mentioned suunto also make cool gadgety watches.

That communicator watch is wild. It looks more cellphone than watch but the concept is intriguing.

Thats exactly what it is. Its called a 'Keitai' which means 'Mobile' like mobile home but for 99% of the time it refers to a cell phone or Keitai Denwa (Mobile Phone)

Here'a a couple of watch companies with a different approach: Sky time Inc. and the Yes Watch.

I got the stainless steel Sky Time watch. I liked the display better and the price a lot better.
Both of these are cool, but if you have a Palm PDA, you can get all that information and much more with the Planetarium (shareware for 24 Euro = about $30). Planetarium also gives you a solar and lunar compass and many views of the nightly stars for any time (okay, until the year 3000 or something) and place on earth.
