I don't know much about watches, but I saw an ad in the paper and I was wondering if it was a good deal. The watch is a Wenger Swiss Millitary "Peak", all stainless with a blue face and the green glowing hands and markers. The retail price is $149.00. The ad has the watch priced at $49.00. The ad was in the Big-5 sporting goods flyer. Just wondering...is this a good buy?
 
Wenger has instituted a policy of strict price control. They are going to also more closely control who sells their watches. As a result, many dealers are clearing out their inventory at rock bottom prices. I would say that is a good price. If you are interested in one get it while you can. Wenger wants people to sell at full retail.
