Probably gonna be a sell-off on Chris Reeve Knives. Mike has been over on their forum stirring up shit on the Idaho Made thread. So, I had to jump in also and someone's feelings may have gotten hurt :D On a good note, I just bought a Nyala because of the thread. Plan on using it as my primary balde for the April Woodland Ops class (No machete this time).

im not selling mine (pictured below) . i think you will like the nyala, i handled one at a knife show and really liked it.

Yea I would love to grab another Sebenza cheap because people are so sensitive about the new stamp!

Mike and I were planning on putting Alabama Made but we figured someone would think it's the new KKK knife or something. So we just decided to engrave on all future models "DESIGNED BY REDNECKS FOR REDNECKS" and leave the white sheets in the closet.

One day I'll try out a CR folder.... I get by with my Blade Tech professional hunter for now in the low rent district :D

Damn TTD, that BladeTech ain't no "low rent" folder!

LOL , it is if I buy used ($85-100 ) most folks on the exchange forum buy new never use and resale at bargan prices.... I have a pair 1 green G10 &1 black G10 gave less than the cost of a new one for the pair :D

I had an orange one I let my nephew have. Nice folder.

That Nyala is a beautiful knife. It looks so similar to the knife I'm having made right now it's scary. My favorite skinning knife has always been my Izula however the handle can get uncomfortable after long periods. That was one reason I put those Ivory handles on it, to try and round it out a little more. I choke way up and hold with the thumb and pointer pinching the blade, so I really like a narrower, longer handle. The Nyala really fits that profile.

The guy who is making my knife is also in Alabama. Charlie Edmondson. I sketched up a pattern and sent it over to him. He is going to forge out a few different blanks of my pattern and mail them back, so I can pick the one I prefer. I should have him look you guys up. He's a very good young up and coming maker.

Cool stuff. Be sure and post up a pic here when you get it made.
