Well, lets just say, lets see your knife along side your watch ;) Since the thread was moved from Traditionals area, it's now open to all you watch and knife fans!

Due to recent need of funds for hospital bills, I sold my Grail watch, the Sinn 656, was thinking about holding a service but decided not, as my family already thinks I'm a little goofy at times as it is...

So, in search of a replacement on the low side of $40, I found this nice Timex, has a nice look to it plus the Indiglo is super handy, while not my grail, I'll make do with this one for now, I did ditch the band that came with it and picked up a nice one from StrappedForTime, good folks lots of nice watch bands there.

Along side is my Le Compact by Chambriard with stag scales, becoming a very mainstay daily carry for me.

So, I know some of you folks also have a thing for watches, lets see them resting up against your traditional knife...

That's tough having to let go of your grail watch, being a watch guy myself I offer my condolences:(

I love your Compact Le Chambriard, I almost pulled the trigger on that exact knife the other day but I had just bought a snakwood version a few days earlier. I'll try to get pics of my Marathon GSAR with it later today. In the mean time, the only pic I have of my GSAR with a traditional of mine is my pocket dump including my black Bullnose.

thanks it was a sad day for sure, just wish that timex there had a black face, that would help readability wise as it gets a little darker the hands blend in with the face too well, of course the Indiglo takes care of that but you need your other hand to operate that function. Usually timex has both white and black face models but I couldn't locate one...

This is a very common daily carry for me. I have three different Eco Drives, but this one is the every day model.

Nice, I'm tempted by an echo drive one right now, still trying to get something to remind me of my 656 :( but it has orange numbers/markers/hands, they have one with white but that has a green face didn't look too keen, and then they have one that's a stealth watch, all black, which I would surmise is for stealthy folks that want the time to remain a mystery even to them ;)

Great idea Gary!

We have threads about Traditional's Paired with Non- Traditional's, Traditional's with Cigars, Traditional's with Non-Traditional Whatever, Traditional's with Lighters…... As long as a traditional knife is shown……………! I think if you look back you will even find a thread about Traditional's with Watches!

Sweet combo there !

Nice too !!! hmmm maybe this thread wasn't such a good idea! it's going to sorely tempt me and I don't have funds for a higher priced watch right now! but seriously, keep them coming folks, everyone loves their knife and watch and we love seeing them!

OK you Vic guys, dug out my old Swiss Army watch, while I like the clean face, the lumen is pretty low, plus I like to just have the 12, 3, 6 and 9 numbers on the face, I can fill in the rest myself ;)

The knife is an Apocalypse Rancher, pretty cool knife!

Gary, here is my submission. Sorry the backdrop isn't better. I was perusing this thread from a hotel room! Does the watch look familiar? Just so happened to be carrying my micarta GEC Bullnose that I darkened the blade on! Pretty nice matching set, huh?

Finally got around to taking a pic of my new Le Thiers par Chambriad in snakwood with my Marathon GSAR on leather Zulu.

Nothing too exciting as I can't afford the high dollar one any more, I'll wait to show it off come Monday :)

As mentioned in the thread about clasps, it has the strap it arrived with, will wear that for now, I like the readability of it, it's not too large or too small, at least for me

case is 42mm diameter, Eco drive, will see how that plays out!

It's a Citizen BM8475-26E
