Invicta is a brand that tends to put a ridiculously high MSRP on the tag, but never intends for it to sell at that price. It gives the appearance of really great sale percentages when the price is what it should be. A quick search reveals current models of the watch go for around $200 +/- $50, and about $100 on a couple of major sales that I pulled from website caches. The MSRP's on them now are over $1000 on some models, so you see the discrepancy. I'd place it at right around $200, given that it's the popular color scheme.

There is also some questionable ethics according to some discussions on what the real country of origin is on the watch itself. Some use the Seiko movement (NH25A), as well as others.

The nh25a is an automatic movement. The watch in question is quartz.

Yes, I stated that as a reference for some of the variation in their products.

As already pointed out, ignore the $800 price tag. Invicta's business model is to price their watches at ridiculous MSRPs, then sell them at 80% off so customers think they're getting a great deal.

However, that is a very handsome watch and should be worth maybe a hundred bucks on the used market. Check completed auctions on eBay.

Oh in that case you're being too kind.

Was just surprised by the sticker and not to really believe it. Nice watch but I think $200 is about fair now. Think it will just get worn and enjoyed...
Thanks Gentlemen!
