Watch Winders

I had no idea such an item even existed, my grandfather gave me an old (1960's I think) gold Omega, an automatic (self winding) watch. Very nice, but it always lost time cause I don't always wear a watch...

Very interesting, I wish I could hep suggest a good one, but your guess is as good as mine. I just wanted to say I really like the concept!

You might want to go to timezone.com and do some searching there. I know that Orbita is considered one of the best winders but they cost a fair amount more than the ones in your link.

I have an Eilux 3 head winder. I also have a Eilux Single head travel winder which will wind while laying on it's side... this is great for hotel safes and such.

Both winders are super quite and I've posted a brief review and photos on Timezone.

It is said that Orbita is tops and I can't dispute that as I've never had an Orbita and only heard good things about them. I used the money I saved on the Eilux to buy another watch.

I've had my Eilux winders for about 3 years... perfectly quite function, fit, and finish.

There are multiple wind direction settings... i.e. my Panerai has a Valjoux 7750 movement that only winds clockwise... my other watches have so many turns clockwise and then equal amount counter clockwise using their fuzzy logic.

Orbita has a table for wind directions etc... on it's website.

On the quite part... I keep my winders on the nightstand a few feet away from my head and I can never here them winding... most folks with eilux winders will confirm this.

Good luck
