Water gets into buck 679 handle

I am new to this forum. First I'd like to say hi to everyone.

I recently bought a buck 679. I like it for the most part but one thing: Water gets into the handle. Every time after I washed it, if I squeeze the handle tight, I see water and bubbles came out from the handle. I am wondering if this is common for buck 679? Shall I send it to buck for replacement?

Err, that does not surprise me for a molded on handle. Just be more careful when you wash it.

I would just use some compressed air and try to blow it out. I don't think you would have much luck with another one.
