Water jet cutting

I need some names and contact info on water jet cutting. Nothing fancy just slicing some 1 1/2 X 2 bar stock into 1/8 X 1 1/2 blade stock. I realize sizing will not be exact and the blanks will be flat ground when I get them back.
Pricing I got from the guy in Calgary was, well, I didn,t really want to buy his whole machine shop!!!!
Anywhere will do! Canada would be great, but Pacific NW would do just fine.

Hey there Robert, I'm just taking a wild guess that it was Laser Equation that you called :P
A buddy of mine that works at JAS here in town told me not too long ago that they had just bought a waterjet table, so their rates might not be as bad- number is (403)279-7460
If you'd like, I've got a piece of 3V the exact same size- maybe they'd go a little cheaper if we went in on it together?

There is an advertisement in the past couple issues of Blade for water jet cutting for knifemakers. I don't have access to the magizine right now or I would give you the contact information: In the Ad there is a picture of a man with a dial caliper standing behind the machine with a round part in his hand.

L.M.S. Stampings is the company that advertises in BLADE. They are in Pa. and I've used them. They're "Top Notch" guys to deal with, good pricing and quick turnaround.

I sometimes have a batch cut out from these guys: Precision H20 They are nice to deal with but I think they are kind of high priced. I guess if I had that much money invested in equipment I would charge alot too. Anyway they are in Spokane Washington if you want to give them a call. 1 (800) 425-2098 Bruce B
