I was wondering what you guys are using for footwear in the cold/wet seasons of the year. I just grabbed a pair of Muck brand ''Chore" boots as an experiment this spring. Anyone else try these boots ? Any opinions ?

I have a pair of their "Arctic" boots and they are good. High enough and tight enough to keep all the snow out. Fairly lightweight as well.

For cold as in snow, I used Sorel snowpacs, as I need the lacing to tighten on to my foot

Gum/Wellington boots like Muck slip on my heel and I rub blisters in two seconds

Otherwise hiking boots or 'timberline' type, and Gaiters for the mud
