Water Stones, Convex, and BK17...A video I found.

virtuovice's videos are pretty well known I think here on BK&T. I learned a lot from his sharpening techniques.

Learned good stropping form from his channel. He does some amazing things with blades for sure.

Have you guys seen the vids where he cuts himself and does his own stitches, or hurts his knee then drains it himself!

His videos are great - quite mesmerizing, especially with a few drams of nice whiskey. Wouldn't mind having his Bark River collection, either.

Isn't he a surgeon? His knife tests are pretty good.

Yes he is. He talks veeeery sloooow but its a good thing because he gets his point across. I have watched all his videos, good stuff. I would like to get him in here with us. He loves his BK14/BK11

Yep, I'm hooked. I've maybe watched 15 to 20 so far out of 400 plus. I knew of Bark River before but didn't understand what high quality they produced. I have a few on my wish list and I'll likely order one or two before too long. Finding a dealer that has the model and configuration you want can take some time and the price difference from one dealer to the next is big.

I've learned a few things watching his videos, new ways to process deer, new ways to sharpen knives, learned more about stropping compounds and have a better understanding about different types of convex edges. I also had no clue it snowed like that in Japan.

Right now I'm trying to watch all of his Bark River and Becker videos, I'll branch out from there. Good stuff for sure.

He is making videos in a foreign language, I think I would be speaking heaps slower, he has his own preferences , but I like hearing them as he definitely uses his knives in the field and speaks from personal experience

I actually like the pace of his videos. Because he really has to think before he talks, he doesn't talk just to fill the space.

There seems to be alot of knife reviewers on YT that do just that. (but thats a hot topic and i will say no more
