Waterproof AA carrier

I want some thing to hold 4-8 AA batteries to throw in a BoB that will be reasonably water proof. I have the Surefire spare carrier for my 123a's but nothing for the more common AA.

+1 to the Pelicans or similar - I also suggest that you double protect by using cling film around the batteries and seal the film using a hair dryer. This creates a tight plastic covering. Then on top of the covering, using a permanent marker, write the expiry date. This is often forgotten because the expiry dates are so far away that some diminish or forget it. If your BoB has many items with expiry dates, you may wish to create reminders somewhere else.

Lots of choices - high impact resistant and H2O proof are the Pelican cases and Otter Box. Really overkill because they are bulky and too heavy for the return on weight.

On the low end is a Zip Lock baggie.

I really like Falcor's idea and will borrow that suggestion! Thanks Falcor!

In the middle is the Aloksak which is a Zip Lock bag on steroids and is good for 100' underwater used by divers and comes in many pre-bundled Surivival kits. This is another excellent low bulk relatively in-expensive alternative.
