Has anyone used this stuff for their knife/tool?

It requires a base and then a top coat. Quart of each adds to $160 before ship per my quick look. It would be cool to accidentally drop your knife into wet cement and then retrieve it in in spotless condition. Or be able to keep blood out of your skinner/folder. Or keep sweat/mud/water off the handle of your machete.

Does it color the target? Or does it dry clear?

Iv never used any...but it would be interesting to see how it would hold up on a knife. I wonder how it would effect the smoothness of a folder..

I'm thinking about getting some. It may work best to seal paint in the bath and mine needs a painting soon. Maybe even put it on the ceramic wall tile in order to make cleaning a simple and quick wipe down with a towel, hopefully.

Paint your dinner plate, knife, fork and spoon so you never have to wash them again! How about the car... I know. A drunkard's dream.

If I get some then I won't be able to keep a tool or two out of it. Showering with your Swiss Army knife may never come up but how about keeping your pliers from rusting? This neck of the woods, Willamette Valley, is damp, moldy and ground central for rust, crust and bust.

The video of this product makes wet stuff run away like water the back of a:

I'm thinking about applying to your windshield, no more wiper blades. Coat your deck with it and no more preservative every season. Cover your kids with it and just hose them down.:D
Endless uses for the twisted mind to come up with. How about coating the bottom of your boat with it: would you get more speed out of it? MMMMMMM........

Blessings,

Omar
